August 22, 2017 – We are welcoming Edible Monterey Bay’s new fall issue with three release parties in September and we hope to see all our friends and fans there. Be sure to RSVP for the party or parties you’d like to attend. Admission is free, but space is limited.
We start at Vertigo Coffee Roasters on September 7 from 6:30-8:30pm in San Juan Bautista, where there will be complimentary wood-fired pizza and meatballs with three olive oil dips courtesy of the organizers of the San Benito Olive Festival, coming up on October 14. There will be local craft beer and wine for sale and live music from the duo Midnight Sun. RSVP for the San Benito County party here.
The following week we are celebrating at Annieglass in Watsonville on September 14 from 5:30-7:30pm. We are thrilled to be celebrating the release of our fall issue in the heart of the Watsonville. Please join us for a community celebration that will feature complimentary small bites from a selection of vendors from El Pajaro–the commercial kitchen incubator program. Folks from Elkhorn Slough Brewing, Tanuki Cider, and others will be offering libations. Cash bar with proceeds benefiting the Clean Oceans International! The ladies of the Santa Cruz Heritage Food Project will also be on-site to discuss their recently released book and answer all your food history questions. RSVP for the Santa Cruz County party here.
The party moves to Carmel on September 15, when we gather at Earthbound Farm’s Farm Stand from 5-7:30pm. Pick up your complimentary copy of EMB and tour the beautiful gardens at this memorable evening celebrating the 25th anniversary of the farm stand. Fall is a magical time of year at the Farm Stand with the pumpkin patch and gardens in full bloom, so we promise a couple opportunities throughout the evening to join in a tour. Complimentary small bites from the always fresh and organic cafe will be available. RSVP for the Monterey County party here.
